Head of Nasdaq has cooled rumors about the launch of bitcoin futures

"We continue to study whether bitcoin can be a class of assets that can exist in a more regulated market environment, " she said.

"I can only say that we are conducting an active dialogue with many clients and partners about what can be done in the future."
Adena Fridman also added that two financial instruments can be used to better control bitcoin and other crypto currency.

"There are futures that allow you to hedge [risks] and implement other trading strategies, and there are ETF [over-the-counter investment funds], " said the head of Nasdaq.
